Hayashi

Hayashi is truly incredible – an act that defies belief … a bizarre combination of mentalism and traditional Japanese culture, Hayashi demonstrates how the knights of ancient Japan lived by a code of ethics which forbade them from harming the innocent without justification. This is a display of authentic Samurai swordsmanship which appears to be death-defying and has thrilled audiences across the globe. It is a nail-biting rollercoaster of pure adrenalin !

“Hayashi’s performance is a nail-biting rollercoaster of pure adrenalin!”Adept not only on stage – but in the close-up arena, too, Hayashi’s competition history is one of the most international and extensive in the magic industry. He was the 2005 SAM European Champion of Magic in Close-Up. 1st place Winner at the MacMillan International Magic Championships in London, as well as the French, German, Italian, Swiss, and Austrian National Championships with his card act. He has competed in 24 major competitions around the world, been featured on national primetime television in five countries, performed in seven languages, and lectured in fifteen countries spanning three continents. His Samurai act is an internet Youtube sensation.

Hayashi’s lecture concentrates on his cutting-edge work in the fields of coin and card magic. He teaches mindblowing routines that can be performed with a regular deck of cards and four ordinary coins. These are the items he carries on his person literally every day of his life which enable him to spontaneously do an entire show anytime, anywhere.

He covers routines which range in difficulty from intermediate to amazingly easy. He can also go into some of his highly advanced material upon request, but he prefers to offer something for all skill levels.

In addition to demonstrating and explaining his material, he very much enjoys talking about the performance skills that make an entertainer. He belongs to a dynamic new generation of performers who believe that scripting, diction, music, choreography, stage presence, a well-structured act and theatrical skills are just as important to the close-up worker as they are to the stage performer.

A truly inspiring performer not to be missed.
